Hawkshead provides a fantastic location for groups. Overlooking the tranquil Esthwaite Water in the southern Lakes, this centre is in a gorgeous spot from which to explore the surrounding Beatrix Potter country.
Local attractions include Grizedale forest -fantastic for mountain biking, walking routes, a sculpture trail and Go Ape!, Beatrix Potter's house at Hill Top, Lake Windermere, exploring the Southern Fells, and Hawkshead village (1 mile away) where the poet William Wordsworth was educated.
