A former mill in its own secluded grounds on the banks of the River Dane, this centre is close to the Staffordshire moorlands and gritstone Roaches.
For a good dose of fun, Alton Towers theme park is just 15 miles away. If you're a National Trust member then there's plenty to do as properties such as Quarry Bank Mill at Styal, Little Morton Hall, Tatton Park, Dunham Massey and Biddulph Grange are all nearby.
